The fantastic 5. Ha!
Plans were not made with the outside world and family were on strict instructions that we were not able to attend roast pork for dinner (much to joe's disappoint. Sorry babes.) and that we were not available for anything AT ALL.
Pancakes for breakfast, demanded by Harvey, which i was totally down with. Can't beat pancakes, ESPECIALLY smothered in lemon and sugar!
Next up, dog walk in the woods. We used to go all the time together and it was something i really really missed. Even though it was disgustingly muddy and damp, we all got our welly boots and waterproofs on and ventured out. I think they enjoyed it...
I didn't realise how much i was craving a family day until the day before. Downtime with my favourite people was just what the doctor ordered.
Game on!
Thoughts of the day -
- Camp building in the lounge is fun.
- Family days are priceless - don't let them slip. Far too good to waste.
- Elsie is getting biiiig and my broodiness phase has passed
- We need to plan more of these
Love, Love, Love the pictures! I love family day :)

DeleteAwesome pics! I have two questions. 1) is he jumping over the water or standing in it? It looks like he's in mid-air. Looks cool, wherever he is. 2) what is that game in the last picture? That looks like so much fun! It would crack me up!
ReplyDeleteStopping by from SSS.
So cute! Did you make that hat? and I agree with Kate, that game in the last pic looks like a lot of fun!
